Mingo Falls is in the Cherokee area of North Carolina. Located off Big Cove Road near the Parkway and U.S. 441.
The town of Cherokee is located at the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park in the Qualla Indian Reservation.
One of the highest waterfalls in the area. It drops around 120 feet over the rock face that slows the water a little. The trail is easy but be prepared to climb steps. There’s a footbridge that goes over the creek, a perfect place to view the falls and to take photographs.
