I just love watching these bird cams! This one is featuring an American Kestrel located in Wisconsin. (More information is posted in the description of the video.) Kestrels are the prettiest of all raptors! Their colors are just beautiful.
Cornell Lab has the best bird cams! This is a barred owl with at least 2 eggs in the nest.
“The female Barred Owl ate well last night! In addition to several crayfish, the male delivered this mouse, which the female swallowed whole.”
Springtime always reminds me of baby animals. It’s that time of year when you see all the cute little ones. I stumbled across this mama goose several years ago and noticed how the goslings were keeping safe and warm under the mother’s wings. Two of them popped their heads up to see what’s going on around them. (Notice that there is 2 more in the front.)
It also reminds me of Psalm 91:4 “under his wings you will find refuge”. The whole chapter talks about the confidence the believer has when facing dangers and challenges.
See my animal page for more photos of all kinds of animals.
American Eagle Day is celebrated annually on June 20. It’s a holiday that celebrates their removal from the endangered species list. The bird was added to the official Seal of the United States in 1782.

Several days ago, I shared my photomontage of owls that has been a customer favorite. Today I’ve added a little twist to it by adding an owl feather background.
Here is my collage of barred owls, barn owls, burrowing owls, screech owls and great horned owls with an owl feather background. Hope you like! Leave a comment below.
