Hello!

I spend most of my time photographing this beautiful state during all four of our seasons. We're fortunate enough to have the mountains to the west of us and the ocean to the east.

November 2011 - Chimney Rock and Lake Lure - It was the prettiest time of the year! Beautiful fall colors

October 2011 - Triple Falls in the Dupont State Forest - These falls are famous from the movie "The Last of the Mohicans"

Pilot Mountain - State Park in the northern part of the state

I use a Canon 5D Mark II and a Canon Rebel T3i and have 4 lenses (EF 24-105mm L IS USM, EFS 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM, EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM and a Zoom EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM) (Canon Speedlite Flash 580EX). I use Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3.0 for any post processing.

I just got the Lensbaby Composer so I'm having fun learning this little lens.

Meet Oliver, our African Grey Parrot!

Oliver just turned 9 years old on August 1st. He's turned out to be a very good talker and keeps us constantly entertained.
