Pearsons Falls is such a pretty waterfall! It’s located off highway 176 between Tryon and Saluda. The Tryon Garden Club purchased the falls and the park area. You pay a small fee to enter the park and it’s well worth it, for all the upkeep.
This is a perfect place to visit in the spring as they have a lot of wildflowers that bloom in the springtime, Trillium being one of them. The trail is super easy, less than half a mile.
A little history… the waterfall is named after Charles William Pearson who discovered it scouting for the railroad around the Civil War era.
