We finally got some snow in NC! At least 6 inches at our house. It’s going to be very cold over the next few days so it won’t be melting soon.

If you live in North Carolina and have never visited McAdenville in December, you are missing the best Christmas lights I’ve ever seen. You can park and walk on the sidewalks to view all the houses decorated. This photo is of the little lake in the middle of town that always looks beautiful lit up for Christmas.

We didn’t get much last night but it’s been three weekends in a row with winter weather in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. For several years we haven’t had any snow to measure. The mountains have been getting a lot of snow. Good for the ski industry!
