Enjoy a cruise around town on a surrey bike built for the whole family, rent a kayak and paddle along the shore of Carolina Beach State Park, take surfing lessons from an Olympic gold medalist, or book a charter excursion at the Carolina Beach Fishing Center and Marina. Nearby on the island, discover stunning exhibits of aquatic environment and wildlife at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, named as one of the Travel Channel’s top aquariums in the U.S. There are a lot of beaches in North Carolina, but there’s only one Carolina Beach.
