I finally got to the Chapel Hill campus this spring! A very wooded, woodsy campus with the feeling of it being old and historic. Very pretty!

I finally got to Chimney Rock this fall. It was at its peak color! This is the view from the Opera Box. You can see Lake Lure and the Hickory Nut Gorge area for miles and miles.

On Highway 52, they have an overlook that you can drive on to view Pilot Mountain from a distance. The mountain really does just peak out of nowhere!
