Pearsons Falls

Pearsons Falls is such a pretty waterfall! It’s located off highway 176 between Tryon and Saluda. The Tryon Garden Club purchased the falls and the park area. You pay a small fee to enter the park and it’s well worth it, for all the upkeep.

This is a perfect place to visit in the spring as they have a lot of wildflowers that bloom in the springtime, Trillium being one of them. The trail is super easy, less than half a mile.

A little history… the waterfall is named after Charles William Pearson who discovered it scouting for the railroad around the Civil War era.

Owl Collage

Owl Photos

Do you like owls?? Well, this photomontage is for you. I’ve combined 9 different photos of my owls to make this one collection for wall art.  Would look great framed or on canvas!

The owls are, from left to right, burrowing owl, barn owl, screech owl, great horned owl, mother and baby (owlet) barred owl, screech owl, great horned and barred owls.

Cow Painting

These cows were up in the North Carolina mountains, way up in very rural country. My father and I took a jeep ride on a road that only a 4 wheel could navigate. My father passed away almost 2 years ago. What a wonderful memory this is for me.

This photo is a digital oil painting from the original. Fine Art America has a lot of options for wall art.
